Fresh Squeeze started the way many great wellness habits do, with a simple daily ritual.

Founder Troy Kelly grew up in a health-conscious family where nutrition was not trendy, it was simply part of everyday life. That foundation stayed with him when he left home to pursue a career in aviation. During those years, Troy continued his own journey into health and wellness, learning more, questioning more, and rediscovering timeless truths that still matter most. Real food matters. Consistency matters. The basics are often the most powerful.

In 2009, Troy began doing nutritional coaching. One of the first habits he encouraged clients to build was a simple “wake-up drink” consisting of a litre of clean, alkaline water paired with a cup to a cup and a half of truly fresh juice. The impact was immediate. People felt better, more energized, and more grounded in their health.

There was just one issue. Fresh juice was not easy to access. The options were limited to a few specialty stores, or making it at home. And anyone who has juiced oranges before knows the reality. It takes time, it creates a mess, and it is not a routine most families can maintain consistently.

That is where Fresh Squeeze was born.

Troy set out to make truly fresh, raw orange juice convenient and accessible for households who wanted better nutrition without added complexity. A simple product that could support foundational health from the first sip. No trends, no gimmicks, no extra steps. Just real juice delivered in a way that fits real life.

What is the shelf life of the juice?

Because our juice is raw and unpasteurized, it has a naturally shorter shelf life than store-bought orange juice. Our bottles are best enjoyed within 5 days for peak freshness, flavour, and nutritional value. Best enjoyed within 7 days.

Why is Fresh Squeeze juice unpasteurized?

Pasteurizing is a process of heating a live food to the point where human pathogens are killed. While this method is marketed as being the safer alternative for consumers, it’s not the healthiest because the heat also kills the live enzymes, nutrients and taste originally found in the food. High Pressure Pasteurizing or HPP is a more recent method of extending the shelf life of fresh juices. We've tried the juices out there. they just don't compete with fresh.

Are your oranges organic?

Yes. We use organic oranges so you can feel confident knowing your juice is clean, simple, and made with quality ingredients.

How many oranges are in a 1L bottle?

It depends on the type and size of the orange we’re using at the time, but the average is between 18-22 oranges.

Where do your oranges come from?

Depending on the season, the sourcing of our oranges changes. In the early and late months of the year, we use valencias from organic growers in Mexico. Towards the mid to late months, we juice valencias from California.
